Description
This is a digital magazine I have created detailing my first and only solo road trip into the central heartland of India. This region, collectively, is called Bundelkhand.
This region is wild in its own way. I traveled to Jhansi, Khajuraho, Chritrakoot and the Kalinjar Fort.
Once upon a time, thugs and dacoits roamed the area. They’d wait for unwary travelers and rob them of their possessions and life. Everything has changed now. It’s still wild and can be dangerous. It is beautiful in a raw way.
During my solo road trip, I went to forts and met some interesting people. I chose to edit the images in black & white. Black & white has its own beauty, and this is where I started!
